Kansas City head to Denver on the back of a defeat that ended their three-game win streak and dropped them to 5-4.
The Chiefs limped out of the blocks as they opened the season with a 27-21 defeat to the Los Angeles Chargers in Brazil, before losing the home opener to Philadelphia, 20-17.
They finally got off the mark with a 22-9 victory at the New York Giants, and they backed that up with a 37-20 victory at home to Baltimore before falling 31-28 in Jacksonville.
Kansas City responded to that loss with a three-game surge at home, beating Detroit 30-17, Las Vegas 31-0 and Washington 28-7.
However, the Chiefs failed to make it four-in-a-row when they went back out on the road, losing 28-21 in Buffalo last time out.

Denver enter this matchup on a red-hot run of form, having now won seven straight games to improve to 8-2.
The Broncos opened with a 20-12 win over Tennessee, only to drop their next two games on the road, 29-28 in Indianapolis and 23-20 at the Los Angeles Chargers.
They have not lost since though, sparking this tear with a 28-3 victory at home to Cincinnati.
Denver then won 21-17 in Philadelphia and 13-11 against the New York Jets in London, before returning home to down the New York Giants, 33-32, and Dallas, 44-24.
The Broncos made it six-in-a-row with an 18-15 victory in Houston, and then took their streak to seven games as they beat Las Vegas at home, 10-7.
Verdict
Denver are on a great run, but their offense has struggled badly in their past couple of games.
That spells trouble against Steve Spagnuolo’s defense, and we expect the Chiefs to make it a rough day for Bo Nix as they down the Broncos.
