The Dolphins just pulled off a major upset against Buffalo, and now they get to face a Washington team without Jaylen Daniels and whose season is spiralling.

Washington cross the Atlantic on a miserable run of form, having now lost each of their last five games to fall to 3-7.
The Commanders entered the season as a leading contender in the NFC, and enjoyed a winning start as they downed the New York Giants 21-6.
They struggled for consistency early on though, as they had to rebound from a 27-18 loss to Green Bay with a 41-24 win over Las Vegas, before responding to a 34-27 loss in Atlanta with a 27-10 victory at the Los Angeles Chargers.
Washington’s form then nose-dived as they gave up a walk-off field goal to lose 25-24 at home to Chicago, sparking this five game slide.
The Commanders have followed that up with a 44-22 loss at Dallas, a 28-7 defeat at Kansas City, a 38-14 home loss to Seattle and a 44-22 home defeat to Detroit.
Miami Dolphins Form
Miami enter this matchup on the back of their best win of the season so far, which improved their record to 3-7.
The Dolphins kicked off the season with a 33-8 defeat in Indianapolis, and then fell 33-27 at home to New England and 31-21 in Buffalo.
They finally got off the mark with a 27-21 over the New York Jets, but failed to back that up as they lost 27-24 in Carolina, 29-27 at home to the Los Angeles Chargers and 31-6 in Cleveland.
Miami avoided a fourth straight loss as they won 34-10 in Atlanta, only to then lose 28-6 at home to Baltimore.
The Dolphins issued the perfect response however, as they upset Buffalo at home last weekend, 30-13.
Verdict
The 2025 season has been a major disappointment for Miami, but they did just knock off Buffalo in impressive fashion.
