Los Angeles head out on the road riding a three-game win streak that has improved their record to 6-2.
The Rams opened the season with back-to-back victories, following up a 14-9 success against Houston with a 33-19 victory in Tennessee.
They failed to make it three-in-a-row as they lost 33-26 at Philadelphia, only to rebound with a 27-20 victory when they hosted Indianapolis.
Los Angeles were unable to back that up, losing 26-23 in overtime to San Francisco, but they have not tasted defeat since then.
The Rams bounced back with a 17-3 win in Baltimore, and followed it up by beating Jacksonville 35-7 on the road and New Orleans 34-10 at home.
San Francisco 49ers Form
San Francisco enter this matchup looking to develop some consistency, having ridden a recent rollercoaster run of form to a 6-3 record.
The 49ers opened the season with three straight wins, beating Seattle 17-13 and New Orleans 26-21 on the road, and Arizona 16-15 at home, but they have not strung together wins since then.
Their perfect start was ended by a 26-21 loss to Jacksonville, and although they rebounded with a 26-23 overtime win at the Los Angeles Rams, they failed to back it up.
San Francisco had to bounce back from a 30-19 defeat at Tampa Bay with a 20-10 win at home to Atlanta.
The 49ers then had to respond to a 26-15 defeat in Houston with a 34-24 victory when they visited the New York Giants.

Los Angeles have built some momentum over the past few weeks and Matthew Stafford has this offense rolling.
