The Eagles made a terrific start to the season as they backed up a 24-20 win over Dallas with a 20-17 victory in Kansas City.
They then downed the Los Angeles Rams 33-26 at home and Tampa Bay 31-25 on the road, before finally seeing their perfect start end with a 21-17 loss to Denver.
Philadelphia failed to rebound immediately as they then lost 34-17 at the New York Giants, but they were able to get back on track before they bye week.
The Eagles stopped the rot with a 28-22 victory in Minnesota, and then backed that up with a 38-20 win at home to the Giants.
Green Bay Packers Form
Green Bay enter this matchup looking to bounce back from a shock home defeat that dropped them to 5-2-1.
The Packers opened the season with back-to-back wins, beating Detroit 27-13 before downing Washington, 27-18.
They failed to make it three-in-a-row as they lost 13-10 in Cleveland, and that was followed by a 40-40 tie at Dallas prior to the bye week.
Green Bay made a winning return to action though, beating Cincinnati 27-18 at home, and they backed that up on the road as they beat Arizona 27-23 and Pittsburgh 35-25.
The Packers’ win streak was brought to a shuddering halt last weekend though, as they suffered a surprise 16-13 home defeat to Carolina.
Verdict
Philadelphia have got their offense going over the past couple of weeks and that spells trouble for Green Bay.
The Packers could not stop Barkley & Co. in two meetings last season, and we expect history to repeat itself here as the Eagles take the ‘W’.
