Miami head to Pittsburgh on their best run of the season so far, having won four consecutive games to improve to 6-7.
The Dolphins endured a miserable start to the season as they lost three straight games before finally getting off the mark with a 27-21 win over the New York Jets.
They failed to follow that up though as they lost their next three games, and it was not until October 26 that they finally recorded their second victory as they won 34-10 in Atlanta.
Miami again failed to back up a victory, losing 28-6 to Baltimore, but they have not tasted defeat since then.
The Dolphins sandwiched a 16-13 overtime win against Washington in Spain with home wins over Buffalo, 30-13, and New Orleans, 21-17, before making it four-in-a-row with a 34-10 victory at the New York Jets.
Pittsburgh Steelers Form
Pittsburgh enter this Monday night matchup having ended a two-game losing sequence with a crucial division win that took their record to 7-6.
The Steelers made a strong start to the campaign as they won four of their first five games, only to cool off as they lost 33-31 at Cincinnati and 35-25 at home to Green Bay.
They then rebounded with a 27-20 upset of Indianapolis, before responding to a 25-10 defeat at the Los Angeles Chargers with a 34-12 victory over Cincinnati.
Pittsburgh again failed to follow up a victory as they lost 31-28 in Chicago, and a week later they were beaten 26-7 at home by Buffalo.
The Steelers did avoid a third straight defeat though, as they knocked off the Ravens in Baltimore, 27-22.
Verdict
Miami are the hotter team heading into this matchup, but Pittsburgh is not going to be hot on a Monday night in December.
