Detroit enter this matchup on an inconsistent run of form, having split their last eight games to sit 8-5.
The Lions rebounded from a season-opening defeat with four consecutive victories, but they have not managed to put together wins since early October.
They had to rebound from a 30-17 defeat at Kansas City with a 24-9 win over Tampa Bay, and then responded to a 27-24 loss at home to Minnesota with a 44-22 win at Washington.
Detroit again failed to back up a win as they lost 16-9 in Philadelphia, only to down the New York Giants in overtime, 34-27.
The Lions followed that up with a 31-24 loss to Green Bay on Thanksgiving, but bounced back last time out with a 44-30 win over Dallas.
Los Angeles Rams Form
Los Angeles enter this matchup having now won seven of their previous eight games to improve their record to 10-3.
The Rams opened the season with back-to-back wins, only to cool off by losing two of the next three.
They responded to that loss to San Francisco in emphatic fashion though, as they went out on the road to beat Baltimore 17-3 and Jacksonville 35-7, before returning home to beat New Orleans 34-10.
Los Angeles then took their win streak to six games by backing up a 42-27 victory at San Francisco with home wins over Seattle, 21-19, and Tampa Bay, 34-7.
The Rams’ run was finally ended by a 31-28 loss at Carolina, but they bounced back at the first attempt with a 45-17 demolition of Arizona.
Verdict
Los Angeles got back on track a week ago and they have been a strong pick on the home turf this season.
