The Bears return a defense that dominated in the second half of last season, while the offense features a bunch of new weapons that can take the pressure of their rookie QB.

Tennessee enter the 2024 season looking to improve on a 2023 campaign that saw them finish with a 6-11 record.
The Titans did not manage to string any wins together last season and had serious struggles on the road.
They went 1-7 away from Nissan Stadium with their only victory on the road coming in December when they stunned Miami, 28-27.
Tennessee fired head coach Mike Vrabel following that campaign and turned to Brian Callahan, who has spent the previous four years as offensive co-ordinator in Cincinnati.
Callahan’s appointment was part of a major overhaul to the coaching staff, while on the field the biggest change saw the team move on from running back Derrick Henry.

Chicago come into 2024 with their sights set on a winning record and a trip to the postseason after some big off-season acquisitions.
The Bears went 7-10 last time around and would have won more if it was not for a handful of late collapses that cost them victories.
Despite winning four of their final six games they moved on from starting quarterback Justin Fields, selecting college superstar Caleb Williams with the first overall pick in the draft.
Chicago surrounded him with weapons too, bringing in D’Andre Swift, Keenan Allen, Rome Odunze and Gerald Everett to give the team it’s best looking offense for many years.
The Bears also made some minor adjustments to a defense that finished the second half of the season strong following the arrival of Montez Sweat.
Verdict
Expectations are high in Chicago following a transformation of the offense.
Caleb Williams is going to have his rookie struggles, but unlike Justin Field he has the supporting cast to help him get through them, so we are riding with the Bears in Week 1.
