- 6 of Winnipeg Jets’ last 7 wins have been by at least 2 goals
- Montreal Canadiens are 3-5 in their last 8 games
- The Under has cashed in 8 of Winnipeg’s last 12 games

- Montreal Canadiens won via a shootout when the two teams last met on October 28
Montreal Canadiens Form
Montreal enter this matchup in mixed form, having gone 3-5 in their last eight games to sit 13-13-4.
The Canadiens ended November with a 5-1 defeat to Florida, which was followed by a 5-4 overtime loss to Detroit.
They stopped the rot briefly with a 4-2 win against Seattle, only to then suffer a 4-0 shutout defeat to the Los Angeles Kings.
Montreal responded with a shootout win in Buffalo, but they failed to back that up as they then lost 2-1 to Nashville and dropped a shootout to Pittsburgh.
The Canadiens did avoid a third straight loss though, beating the New York Islanders 5-3 on Saturday.
Winnipeg Jets Form
Winnipeg come into this game having won six of their last seven games to improve their record to 18-9-2.
The Jets rebounded from a three-game losing skid that ended November with a four-game win streak to start December.
They started that run with a 3-1 home win against Chicago, which was followed by a 2-1 victory over Carolina.
Winnipeg then went out on the road to beat Colorado 4-2 and Anaheim 4-2, before seeing their streak end with a 2-1 loss in San Jose.
The Jets bounced back quickly though, winning 5-2 in Los Angeles before returning home to beat Colorado 6-2.
Verdict
Winnipeg have had their issues beating Montreal in recent years, but they are the better team in better form so we are going with the Jets.
