Nashville failed to make it four-in-a-row as they were beaten 4-0 in Toronto, but they responded immediately.
The Predators won 2-1 in Montreal, before returning home to edge Philadelphia in overtime, 3-2.

Carolina went to Detroit on Thursday night looking to build on a victory that improved them to 15-12-1.
The Hurricanes started December with a 6-2 victory over Buffalo, but it has been almost all downhill since then.
They went out on the road following that win over the Sabres and lost their first four games on a six-game road trip.
Carolina were beaten 2-1 in Winnipeg, 6-1 at Edmonton, 3-2 in Calgary and 4-3 at Vancouver, before finally stopping the rot in Ottawa.
The Hurricanes beat the Senators 4-1, and then backed that up last night with a 2-1 victory on the road in Detroit.
Verdict
Nashville have been in good form in recent weeks and are backed to pounce on a Carolina team who only just completed a lengthy road trip last night.
