New York go into their second road game of the Eastern Conference Finals series knocking that a victory will give them the chance to clinch at home.
The Rangers, who win their division with a 55-23-4 record, swept Washington in four games in the first round, and kept their hot streak going by winning the first three games of the series with Carolina.
They let the Hurricanes back into the series with back-to-back defeats, losing 4-3 and 4-1, but responded in Game 6 with a series-clinching 5-3 victory on the road.
New York failed to follow that up in the opening game of this series, losing 3-0 to Florida, but they have responded well.
The Rangers levelled the series with a 2-1 overtime win at home, and they claimed the series lead for the first time with a 5-4 overtime victory in Game 3.
Florida Panthers Form
Florida go into this game looking to knot up the series at 2-2 before heading back to New York for Game 5.
The Panthers, who won their division with a 52-24-6 record, made easy work of their first round series with Tampa Bay, beating the Lightning 4-1.
They then dropped the series opener at home to Boston 5-1, but came storming back to win the next three games, 6-1, 6-2 and 3-2, before responding to a 2-1 home defeat with a series-clinching 2-1 victory on the road.
Florida then made a flying start to this series as they ran out 3-0 winners in the opening game of the Eastern Conference Finals in New York.
However, the Panthers have been unable to build on that success, following up a 2-1 overtime defeat on the road with a 5-4 overtime loss at home,
Verdict
New York are on top in this series and we did not expect to see such a big price for them here.
The Rangers have momentum on their side and a great recent record against Florida, so we are taking those odds.
