Charlotte vs Cincinnati Preview & Picks - Charlotte to stun the Eastern Conference leaders

Charlotte were excellent last week as they pick up all three points in a 2-0 win over Columbus Crew. 

Cincinnati made it two wins in a row as they defeated New York City in a battling 1-0 win. 

The two sides have met four times, with Cincinnati winning twice, Charlotte winning once and the other game ending as a draw. 

Charlotte ended a two-game losing run and three-game winless run last week as they beat Columbus Crew 2-0 on their own patch. 

Both goals came as the game was edging towards a draw, with Charlotte netting in the 83rd and 88th minutes to keep their 100% home record intact. Impressively, Charlotte are yet to concede at home in the league. 

While Cincinnati constitute a huge test for the home team, travelling in the MLS is not easy, and we predict that Charlotte will extend their winning run at home to three games. 

Cincinnati have looked good this season, with the side arriving for their sixth match of the new campaign on the back of a two-game winning run. 

Downing New York City (1-0) and New England Revolution (2-1) were impressive wins, but both came in tight one-goal victories that could have gone either way. 

Having failed to beat Charlotte on the road, Cincinnati may have a tough time of it this weekend, and we are backing them to slip to their first defeat this season.
