Altmaier's Career Week Continues in Halle
Daniel Altmaier continued his impressive Halle campaign by upsetting Daniil Medvedev 6-4, 6-7, 6-4 in the quarter-finals. The German delivered one of the best serving performances of his career, striking 15 aces and winning the key moments to secure the biggest grass-court victory of his career.
This week's run has taken Altmaier into uncharted territory on grass. After falling short in previous quarter-final appearances at Antalya and Mallorca, he has now reached his first ATP Tour semi-final on the surface and is guaranteed his deepest run at a grass-court event.

Tiafoe Survives Thriller to Reach Last Four
Frances Tiafoe produced one of the escapes of the tournament in his quarter-final victory over Felix Auger-Aliassime. The American recovered from a set down, erased a break deficit in the decider and saved three match points in the final-set tiebreak before completing a dramatic comeback.
