Canadian Seeks More Success on Grass
Felix Auger-Aliassime is coming off a strong run at Roland Garros, where he achieved his best result at the tournament by reaching the quarterfinals. Along the way, he defeated clay-court specialists Alejandro Tabilo and Roman Andres Burruchaga before falling to Flavio Cobolli after leading by a set. That run helped him climb to a career-high ranking of No. 4.
The Canadian has been producing strong results since last season, finishing a year with more than 50 wins for the first time in his career and returning to the Top 10. During that period, he reached 11 semifinals or better across all levels.
He has maintained that level in 2026, reaching the finals in Montpellier and Rotterdam, the semifinals in Dubai, and the quarterfinals in Monte Carlo and Roland Garros. He now turns his attention to the grass-court season.
This is Auger-Aliassime's second appearance in 's-Hertogenbosch. His only previous visit came in 2022, when he reached the semifinals with wins over Tallon Griekspoor and Karen Khachanov. He also has semifinal points to defend from Stuttgart, where he reached the last four at this time last year.

Fucsovics Survives Hurkacz Test
Marton Fucsovics survived a thrilling three-set battle against Hubert Hurkacz in the opening round of 's-Hertogenbosch, winning 3-6, 7-6, 7-6. Despite failing to convert any of the seven break points he earned, he claimed the final two sets in tie-breaks to complete the comeback.
The victory snapped a five-match losing streak and gave Fucsovics his first win since Miami. He is now seeking his first tour-level quarterfinal since his title-winning run in Winston-Salem in August last year.
Grass has been one of his more productive surfaces in recent seasons. Fucsovics has won at least two matches in four of his last five grass-court tournaments and will look to add another strong result this week.
