Bellucci Extends Impressive Run in Stuttgart
Mattia Bellucci reached the quarterfinals in Stuttgart after recording back-to-back upsets over Alejandro Davidovich Fokina and Yannick Hanfmann. He has been broken only once across the two matches combined, highlighting the level he has produced this week.
This is Bellucci's first ATP grass-court quarterfinal. The only previous time he won consecutive matches at a tour-level grass event came at Wimbledon last year, where he reached the third round before losing to Cameron Norrie in straight sets.

Fritz Battles Past Landaluce in Stuttgart Thriller
Taylor Fritz defeated Martin Landaluce in a comeback three-set battle to reach the quarterfinals in Stuttgart, 6-7, 7-5, 7-6. He fired 25 aces and saved four of the five break points he faced during the match.
This is Fritz's third quarterfinal appearance in Stuttgart. He lost at this stage to Marton Fucsovics in 2023 but returned to win the title last year, defeating Felix Auger-Aliassime and Alexander Zverev in the later rounds.
The American has dealt with knee issues for much of the season and skipped several clay-court events to focus on recovery. He arrived in Stuttgart on a three-match losing streak and had not won a match since Miami.
