Birmingham head to Houston having kick-started their title defence with wins in their last two games.
The Stallions won back-to-back USFL titles before claiming the inaugural UFL crown last year, but they made a rough start to their quest for a fourth consecutive spring crown.
They opened up on the road in DC and suffered a surprise 18-11 defeat to a Defenders team that lost their head coach just days before the game.
Birmingham bounced back a week later though, as they travelled to Detroit to take down the Michigan Panthers, 21-12.
The Stallions then backed up that victory in their home opener, edging past Arlington last week, 10-9.
Houston Roughnecks Form
Houston go into this game looking to build on last weekend’s victory and win back-to-back UFL games for the first time.
The Roughnecks managed just one win during the 2024 campaign, ending the season on a six-game losing skid.
That losing run continued during the first two weeks of the 2025 season, as they dropped back-to-back games to start the year.
Houston were blown out in their opener at home, losing 31-6 to St Louis, and then fell to an 11-9 defeat when they visited Arlington.
The Roughnecks did get off the mark last weekend though, as they beat the Showboats in Memphis, 18-17.
Verdict
Houston may have got their first win a week ago, but we do not expect them to build on it.
Birmingham have steadied the ship since that shock opening-day defeat, and we expect them to make it three-in-a-row.
