They eased to a 26-7 win over a New Orleans team that had embarrassed Green Bay on opening day.
Carolina then made it three-in-a-row as another strong defensive effort led them to a 24-9 win over Houston.
QB Sam Darnold has settled in well in Carolina, going 73/107 for 888 yards, three touchdowns and a pick.
Darnold has forged some early chemistry with DJ Moore, who has 22 catches for 285 yards and a TD.
RB Christian McCaffrey is the star of this offense with 364 yards from scrimmage and a TD. He is out injured here though.
The biggest reason for Carolina’s 3-0 start is this defense though. It ranks #1 in total yards and yards per game, and #2 in total points and points per game.

QB Dak Prescott has looked great in his return from injury. He us 86/111 or 878 yards, six touchdowns and two interceptions.
CeeDee Lamb has been on the receiving end of 251 of those yards, finding the endzone once.
Amari Cooper and Dalton Schultz each have two TDs while combining for 332 receiving yards.
In the backfield Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard have been a two-headed monster. The pair have combined for 500 yards from scrimmage and four scores.
Dallas’ defense ranks near the bottom of the league in terms of yardage allowed, but it is knocking on the door to the top 10 when it comes to points allowed.

Carolina deserve plenty of praise for getting to 3-0 but this is their biggest test of the season so far.
It is a test that they are likely to fail. Dallas are looking sharp right with Dak Prescott back under center.
