Cincinnati Bengals at Tennessee Titans Picks & Betting Tips

Cincinnati are backed to cover as an underdog in Tennessee.

This is likely to be a low-scoring game with the Titans reliant on their run game and tough defense.

And if points are at a premium, the Bengals’ ability for splash plays could be massive in this one.

The Titans’ weakness is their secondary and Cincy could expose that to, at worst, cover here.

Cincinnati Bengals Form

Cincinnati booked their place in the Division Round of the playoffs with a win over Las Vegas Raiders.

The Bengals went 7-3 up with 4:31 left in the first quarter and never trailed again as they won 26-19.

QB Joe Burrow completed 24 of his 34 pass attempts for 244 yards and two touchdowns, hitting Tyler Boyd and CJ Uzomah for the scores.

Ja’Marr Chase had 116 yards receiving, while Joe Mixon had 76 yards from scrimmage out of the backfield.

That victory was Cincinnati’s sixth in their nine games since the bye week and they now head out on the road where they have won five of their last seven.

Burrow is 366/520 for 4,611 yards, 34 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. He also has a couple of rushing scores.

Joe Mixon now has 1,519 yards from scrimmage and 16 touchdowns, while Ja’Marr Chase leads the team in receiving with 1,455 yards off 81 catches.

Chase failed to find the endzone a week ago but still has the most receiving TDs with 13 to his name.

Tee Higgins has 1,091 yards receiving and six scores, while Boyd and Uzomah have five TDs apiece after their scores a week ago.

Tennessee Titans Form

Tennessee return to action after the bye looking to extend their win streak to four games.

The Titans earned the number one seeding in the AFC by winning four of their final five regular season outings.

They went into the bye on the back of a couple of defeats but stopped the rot with a 20-0 shutout of Jacksonville.

They failed to build on it as they were beaten 19-13 in Pittsburgh a week later, but Tennessee responded well.

The Titans beat San Francisco 20-17 at home before blowing out Miami 34-3, and they wrapped up their regular season campaign with a 28-25 victory in Houston.

QB Ryan Tannehill ended the regular season 357/531 for 3,734 for 21 touchdowns and 14 interceptions.

AJ Brown was his favorite target, hauling in 63 of his 105 targets for 869 yards and five touchdowns.

Derrick Henry rushed for 937 yards and 10 TDs before he went down with injury, but he could return to action this weekend to give Tennessee a massive boost.

On the opposite side of the football, Tennessee boast one of the stingiest defenses in the league.

They ranked sixth in the league in points allowed per game (20.8) and 10th in total yards allowed per game (329.8).

Tennessee are the #1 seeds in the AFC, but they are not considered the best team.
