Kansas City Chiefs Form
Kansas City opened their season with a 33-29 victory but were made to work for it by Cleveland.
The Chiefs trailed 29-20 early in the fourth quarter but some trademark offense swung the game in their favor.
Patrick Mahomes hit Tyreek Hill for a 75-yard touchdown just 14 seconds after the Browns took a two-score lead.
Special teams then blocked a punt deep in Cleveland’s half and Mahomes made them pay, throwing a game-winning TD pass to Travis Kelce.
Mahomes went 27/36 for 336 yards and three touchdowns in the season-opener. He also rushed for 18 yards and a score.
The run game was largely held in check by the Browns, but two players had big days through the air.
Tyreek Hill racked up 197 yards and a TD as he hauled in 11 of his 15 targets. Travis Kelce found paydirt twice and added 76 yards.
The defense sealed the win with a game-winning pick. They intercepted Baker Mayfield once, sacked him twice and registered five QB hits.

Baltimore Ravens Form
Baltimore’s season began with an overtime defeat to the Raiders in Las Vegas.
The Ravens raced out of the blocks to take a 14-0 lead and led 27-24 when Justin Tucker nailed a 47-yard field goal with 37 seconds to go.
Las Vegas responded though to force OT with a 55-yarder from Daniel Carlson, and Zay Jones completed the comeback with a 31-yard walk-off TD.
Lamar Jackson went 19/30 for 235 yards and a touchdown through the air, while rushing for 86 yards off 12 carries.
Jackson struggled to protect the football though, fumbling three times and giving up possession twice.
Jackson was their leading rusher ahead of Ty’Son Williams (65 yards, one TD), while Sammy Watkins was his favorite target through the air (four catches, 96 yards).
Defensively they struggled against the pass, allowing 409 yards and two TDs. That does not bode well for a meeting with KC.
