Defending NBA champions Denver take a perfect 4-0 record into their second road game of the season.
The Nuggets began their defence of the NBA crown with a 119-107 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers on opening night.
They then backed that up with back-to-back wins on the road, starting with a 108-104 success at Memphis.
Denver travelled to Oklahoma City after that and blew out their hosts in a 128-95 victory on Sunday night.
The Nuggets’ win streak then hit four games on Monday as they returned home to beat Utah 110-102.
Minnesota Timberwolves Form
Minnesota go into this game looking to bounce back from a road loss that dropped them to 1-2.
The Timberwolves opened the 2023/24 regular season on the road and lost a close game with Toronto, 97-94.
They bounced back quickly though, dominating Miami through the final three quarters on their way to a 106-90 victory.
Minnesota were unable to build on that victory when they went back out on the road though.
The Timberwolves put up 79 points in the first half in Atlanta, but managed just 34 after the restart as they were beaten 127-113 by the Hawks.
Verdict
Denver have got off to a strong start and although they will stumble eventually, we do not expect that to happen in Minnesota.
