Kansas Form

Kansas are riding an eight-game win streak into the Elite Eight of March Madness.

The Jayhawks dropped a couple of games late in the regular season, but they wrapped it up with a couple of wins to start this streak.

They went all the way in the Big 12 conference tournament, downing West Virginia and TCU comfortably on their way to the final.

Kansas took the conference tournament crown with a comfortable 74-65 win over #14 Texas Tech.

The Jayhawks have followed that up with three straight wins to make it to the Elite Eight while other favorites have bowed out.

They ran over Texas Southern in an 83-56 win and they downed Creighton 79-72 in the second round.

Kansas sealed their place in the last eight of the competition with a 66-61 win over #13 Providence in the Sweet 16.

Remy Martin led the Jayhawks off the bench, racking up 23 points and seven rebounds in the victory.

Jalen Wilson had 16 points and 11 rebounds in a double double, while Christian Braun stacked up 10 rebounds.

Kansas are shooting 47.7% from the field to average 78.4 points per game, making them top 20 in the nation in both categories.

The Jayhawks are allowing the opposition to shoot 41.2% from the floor and are giving up 67.6 points per game.

Miami (FL) Form

Miami (FL) have made it through to the Elite Eight of March Madness for the first time in school history.

The Hurricanes showed off their ability to cause an upset during the regular season when they upset #2 Duke on the road.

They lost to the Blue Devils when the two teams met again in the ACC conference tournament, but they have not dropped a game since.

The U have won three straight games at the national tournament, knocking off two ranked teams along the way.

Miami sprang an upset in the very first round when they fended off a second-half fightback to beat #22 USC 68-66.

There was no such drama in their second outing as they stunned #8 Auburn, 79-61, to advance to the Sweet 16.

The Hurricanes faced their ‘easiest’ game of the tournament so far and once again showed defensive improvement in a 70-56 success.

Kameron McGusty led the Canes in scoring with 27 points, while Sam Waardenburg put up 13 points to go along with eight rebounds and five assists in an all-round display.
