The Bluejays bounced back from an 80-66 defeat to St John’s (NY) by winning their final three games of the regular season.
They failed to build on that in the Big East tournament though, as they were sent crashing out in the quarter-finals.
Creighton received a bye through the first two rounds, but that merely delayed their exit as they were beaten 78-73 by Providence.
The Bluejays have bounced back in March Madness though, beating Akron 77-60 in the first round before downing Oregon 86-73 in double overtime in the second.
