The Huskies have now taken their win streak to nine games at March Madness, backing up a 91-52 win over Stetson with a 75-58 victory against Northwestern.
San Diego State Form
San Diego State go into this massive matchup with Connecticut having won four of their last five games.
The Aztecs underwhelmed during the final few weeks of the regular season as they lost three of their last five games, including both of the last two.
They bounced back at the Mountain West Conference tournament by downing UNLV 74-71 (OT) and Utah State 86-70.
San Diego State failed to claim the conference tournament crown though, as they were then beaten 68-61 by New Mexico.
The Aztecs have responded to that disappointment at March Madness, following up a 69-65 win over UAB with an 85-57 blowout of Yale.
