Texas Tech enter this matchup having rebounded from their only defeat of the season so far with back-to-back wins to reach 8-1.
The Red Raiders began the season with three consecutive wins over non-conference opposition, beating Arkansas Pine-Bluff 67-7, Kent State 62-14 and Oregon State 45-14.
They then kicked off their Big 12 schedule with back-to-back road games and took down Utah 34-10 and Houston 35-11.
Texas Tech blew out Kansas 42-17 in their first Big 12 game at home, but they failed to keep their perfect run going as they fell 26-22 at Arizona State a week later.
The Red Raiders rebounded quickly though, following up a 42-0 shutout of Oklahoma State with a 43-20 victory at Kansas State.
