LSU head back out on the road looking to spring an upset but having now lost three of their last four games to fall to 5-3.
The Tigers opened the season in impression fashion as they took down Clemson on the road, 17-10, and they backed that up over the next few weeks.
They beat Louisiana Tech 23-7 before kicking off their SEC schedule with a 20-10 victory over Florida, and they then made it four-in-a-row as they downed Southeastern Louisiana 56-10.
LSU failed to make it five straight wins as they lost 24-19 to Ole Miss, only to rebound with a 20-10 victory over South Carolina.
The Tigers have not won since however, following up a 31-24 defeat at Vanderbilt with a 49-25 loss at home to Texas A&M.

Alabama have rebounded from their shock season-opening loss with seven straight wins to break into the top five in the rankings.
The Crimson Tide kicked off their campaign with a 31-17 loss at Florida State that knocked them out of the top 10, but their response was emphatic.
They got off the mark with a 73-0 shutout of UL Monroe, and followed that up with a 38-14 victory at home to Wisconsin.
Alabama backed that up in their SEC opener as they downed Georgia on the road, 24-21, and they backed that up with three more wins against ranked teams.
The Crimson Tide beat Vanderbilt 30-14, Missouri 27-24 and Tennessee 37-20, and then made it seven-in-a-row last time out as they won 29-22 at South Carolina.
Verdict
These two teams are heading in very different directions going into this matchup.
Alabama are edging closer to the College Football playoffs, while slumping LSU just fired their coach, so we expect the Crimson Tide to deliver a comfortable win here.
