Missouri backed that up with a 42-6 win over Massachusetts in non-conference action, only to then lose 27-24 when they returned to SEC action against Alabama.
The Tigers rebounded to win 23-17 in Auburn, only to then suffer a 17-10 defeat when they visited Vanderbilt.
