Indiana beat Michigan State 38-13, UCLA 56-6, Maryland 55-10, Penn State 27-24, Wisconsin 31-7 and Purdue 56-13.
That set up a Big Ten Championship showdown with another unbeaten team, Ohio State, and they knocked the Buckeyes off top spot in the rankings with a 13-10 victory.

Alabama come into this game having rebounded from their SEC Championship defeat with a first-round victory at Oklahoma.
The Crimson Tide endured a rough start to the season as they lost 31-17 at Florida State, but they rebounded with a couple of non-conference wins before racing out of the blocks in SEC play.
They reeled off four consecutive wins against ranked teams, beating Georgia 24-21, Vanderbilt 30-14, Missouri 27-24 and Tennessee 37-20, before making it eight wins in a row overall as they downed South Carolina 29-22 and LSU 20-9.
Alabama’s run was brought to a halt by a 23-21 loss to Oklahoma, but they rebounded with a 27-20 win at Auburn to seal an SEC Championship place, only to then lose 28-7 to Georgia.
The Crimson Tide put that behind them in the first round of the playoffs though, as they avenged a regular season defeat to Oklahoma, winning 34-24 on the road.
Verdict
Alabama is a flawed team, while this Indiana group has been on a dominant run this season.
