Ohio State head to Chicago looking to extend a three-game win streak that has taken their record to 8-1.

The Buckeyes kicked off the season with three straight non-conference wins, before beating Michigan State 38-7 and Iowa 35-7 in their first two Big Ten outings.

Their perfect start was finally ended by a 32-31 defeat in Oregon, but they have not tasted defeat since that night.

Ohio State got back on track with a 21-17 win over Nebraska, and then went out on the road to win a big game with Penn State, 20-13.

The Buckeyes then made it three wins in a row as they returned home to shut out Purdue in a 45-0 victory.

Northwestern Form

Northwestern go into this game on the back of a road win at Purdue that edged them closer to .500 at 4-5.

The Wildcats enjoyed a winning start to the season as they beat Miami OH 13-6, but they went on to lose three of their next four games.

Two of those defeats came on conference duty as they were beaten 24-5 at Washington before losing 41-23 at home to Indiana.

Northwestern got off the mark in the Big Ten with a 37-10 victory at Maryland, only to then suffer a 23-3 home defeat to Wisconsin and a 40-14 loss at Iowa.

The Wildcats avoided a third consecutive defeat however, as they won 26-20 at Purdue last time out.

Ohio State @ Northwestern

Ohio State have started to cover consistently in recent weeks and no team in college football has been winning by a better points margin.

The Buckeyes are simply the better team and we expect them to power past the Wildcats.
