Houston go into the postseason on a red-hot run of form, having won each of their last nine games to finish the regular season 12-5.
The Texans endured a miserable start to the season as they lost their first three games of the campaign, but they were able to steady the ship with back-to-back wins before the bye week.
They then returned to action with two defeats in a three-game spell, but they have not lost since the 18-15 defeat to Denver on November 2.
Houston rebounded with a 36-29 win over Jacksonville, and backed that up by beating Tennessee 16-13, Buffalo 23-19, Indianapolis 20-16, Kansas City 20-10 and Arizona 40-20.
The Texans then took their streak to 10 games as they sandwiched a 20-16 win at the Los Angeles Chargers with home wins over Las Vegas, 23-21, and Indianapolis, 38-30, to close out the regular season.
Pittsburgh Steelers Form
Pittsburgh won four of their final five games of the regular season, with the last-day win over Baltimore handing them a 10-7 record and a place in the playoffs.
The Steelers made a solid start to the season as they won three of their first four games, but their form collapsed following an early bye week.
They won just three of their next eight games to enter December with a 6-6 record, but that was still enough to keep them in the race to win the AFC North.
Pittsburgh sparked a three-game win streak with a huge 27-22 win in Baltimore, which was followed by a 28-15 victory over Miami and a 29-24 success in Detroit.
The Steelers then rebounded from a 13-6 upset in Cleveland with a 26-24 victory against Baltimore that secured the division crown and a postseason berth.
Verdict
Pittsburgh will be feeling good about themselves after a strong finish to the regular season.
However, it is difficult to ignore how good Houston have been, especially on defense, so we are backing the Texans to make it 10 wins in a row.
