San Francisco enter the playoffs having lost their final game of the regular season to finish 12-5 and miss out on the number one seed.

Philadelphia also enter the postseason on the back of a regular season loss, but they did rested their starters for a defeat that left them 11-6.
The Eagles also enjoyed a fast start to the campaign as they reeled off four consecutive victories, and they then responded to back-to-back defeats with a couple of wins to enter the bye week at 6-2.
They kept that good run going when their season resumed, as they beat Green Bay 10-7 and Detroit 16-9 to make it four wins a row, only to cool off with three straight defeats.
Philadelphia sandwiched a 24-15 home loss with road defeats at Dallas, 24-21, and the Los Angeles Chargers, 22-19.
The Eagles rallied, backing up a 31-0 home win against Las Vegas with road successes at Washington, 29-18, and Buffalo, 13-12, only to close out the regular season with a 24-17 loss to the Commanders.
