Their last win came on April 3 when they beat Nashville 5-1 to extend their win streak to seven games, but that run was ended by a 5-3 loss to Pittsburgh and they failed to bounce back.
Dallas then lost 3-2 in overtime at Minnesota, before returning home to lose 6-5 in overtime to Vancouver, 4-0 to Winnipeg and 5-3 to Utah.
The Stars’ losing skid then reached seven games on the road as they were beaten 6-4 in Detroit and 5-1 at Nashville.
Verdict
Colorado may have finished behind Dallas in the division, but they are clearly the team in better form heading into this.
