The Kings won either side of Christmas, beating Calgary 5-3 and San Jose 5-1 at home, but their form soon nose-dived.
They returned to losing ways with a 3-2 defeat in Vegas, and they closed out 2023 with a shootout loss to Edmonton.
Los Angeles’ losing run continued as they lost 3-0 to Toronto and dropped a shootout to Detroit at home, and this six-game road trip started with a 4-3 loss in Washington.
The Kings then lost 3-2 in overtime to both Tampa Bay and Florida, before losing 5-3 in Detroit, but they finally stopped the rot last night.
Dallas Stars Form
Dallas enter this game in decent form, having responded to a three-game losing skid with three wins in their last four games.
The Stars ended 2023 with back-to-back wins over Chicago at home, beating the Blackhawks 5-4 in overtime before blowing them out, 8-1.
They made a rough start to 2024 though, losing 4-3 to Montreal, 5-4 (OT) to Colorado and 4-3 to Nashville at home.
Dallas snapped that losing skid at the expense of Minnesota though, beating them 4-0 at home and 7-2 on the road.
The Stars then lost 6-3 when they hosted Nashville, only to immediately bounce back with a 3-1 victory in Chicago.

Dallas are the team in better form and have home advantage, so we like the Stars to inflict another defeat on Los Angeles.
