The Stars ended 2023 on a solid run of form as they won seven of their final eight games of the year, with their last two outings resulting in 5-4 (OT) and 8-1 wins over Chicago.
They made a rough start to 2024 though, as a 4-3 defeat at home to Montreal sparked a three-game skid.
Dallas followed up that loss with a 5-4 overtime defeat to Colorado, before falling to a 4-3 loss when they hosted Nashville.
The Stars rebounded in the back-to-back with Minnesota though, winning 4-0 on the road before returning home for a 7-2 victory.
