The Capitals squandered home advantage as they lost 2-1 in overtime in the series-opener, but they put that behind them with a 3-1 victory in Game 2.

The Hurricanes made the perfect start as they won 2-1 in overtime in Washington, but failed to follow that up as they were beaten 3-1 in Game 2.
They rebounded in their first home game of the series though, shutting out the Capitals in a 4-0 victory that restored their series lead.
Carolina claimed their place in the playoffs by compiling a 47-30-5 record, and they advanced to this round by beating New Jersey in five games.
The Hurricanes opened the series with 4-1 and 3-1 victories at home, and then responded to a 3-2 overtime defeat with 5-2 and 5-4 (OT) victories to set up this series with Washington.
Verdict
Carolina dominated in their Game 3 victory and we fully expect them to back that up.
The Hurricanes have been excellent on the home ice in the playoffs so far, so not only do we expect them to win, we also like the chances of them covering the Line too.
