New York sandwiched a 4-3 victory in Detroit with home wins over New Jersey, 4-3, and Montreal, 5-2.
The Rangers’ run was halted by a 4-2 loss to the New York Islanders and a 4-1 loss to Philadelphia, but they were able to end the regular season on a high by beating the Islanders in a shootout before downing Ottawa 4-0.

New York are in good form and have been stacking up wins at home over the past several weeks.
