The Jets came into this best-of-seven showdown with Dallas with home advantage, but threw that away in the opener as they lost 3-2.
They rebounded in their second home game, winning 4-0, but returned to losing ways in their first road game of the series, losing 5-2 on Sunday.
Winnipeg went 56-22-4 to win the Central Division and make the playoffs, and had to overcome St Louis in a marathon series to set up this meeting with Dallas.
The Jets twice surrendered the series lead against the Blues, before finally clinching the series with a 4-3 overtime win in Game 7.

Dallas enter this matchup knowing that a victory will give them an opportunity to clinch the series in Winnipeg on Thursday.
The Stars made a great start to this series as they went out on the road to beat the Jets 3-2.
They failed to back that up in Game 2, losing 4-0, only to bounce back immediately with a 5-2 success in their home opener, regaining the series lead.
Dallas went 50-26-6 during the regular season but had to rebound from a rough start the postseason that saw them lose 5-1 at home to Colorado.
The Stars turned it around after that, although they twice blew a series lead before finally clinching with a 4-2 victory in Game 7.
Verdict
Dallas are back in front in the series and we expect them to double their lead in Game 4.
The Stars are on a roll at home, while Winnipeg are yet to pick up a road ‘dub’ since the playoffs got underway.
