Auger Aliassime Carries Winning Confidence
Felix Auger-Aliassime began his Madrid campaign with a 6-3, 6-4 win over Vilius Gaubas. He served seven aces and won an excellent 91% of his first-serve points.
He started his clay season last week in Monte Carlo, where he reached the quarterfinals before losing to Jannik Sinner in straight sets. It was a strong start compared to 2025, when he lost in the opening round of five of his six clay events.
The 25-year-old has continued his solid season with a title in Montpellier, a final in Rotterdam, a semifinal in Dubai, and a third-round run in Indian Wells.
