Valentin Royer kickstarted his North American swing in Montreal last week, where he registered a comeback win against Pablo Carreno Busta in the first round before losing to Tommy Paul in tight straight sets.

Tsitsipas Eyes a Return to Winning Ways in Cincinnati
Stefanos Tsitsipas has played two events in this North American swing so far, and both have ended in early-round exits, suffering an opening-round loss in Washington and a second-round defeat in Montreal recently.
Despite those losses, his performance has been more encouraging in recent weeks considering his struggles earlier this year. He also lifted his first title of the season in Gstaad last month, which pushed him closer to returning to the top 50 in the rankings.
He also reached the fourth round in Madrid, the quarterfinals in Doha and the third round in Miami earlier this year.
Tsitsipas has made seven main-draw appearances in Cincinnati and cleared the first-round hurdle in five of them. His best results here came in 2021, when he reached the final, and 2022, when he reached the semifinal.
