Vacherot Continues Remarkable Rise
Valentin Vacherot reached the quarterfinal in Monte Carlo with a 6-7, 6-3, 6-4 comeback win over Hubert Hurkacz. After dropping the first set, he saved all six break points across the final two sets to turn the match around.

De Minaur Reaches Monaco Quarterfinal
Alex de Minaur booked his place in the Monte Carlo quarterfinals with wins over Cameron Norrie and Alexander Blockx. He came through a three-set opener before a more comfortable third-round victory.
This marks his third consecutive quarterfinal appearance at this event. He lost to Novak Djokovic in 2024 but defeated Grigor Dimitrov last year to reach the semifinal.
The result comes as a relief after losing three of his last four matches before arriving this week. Despite that dip, he had a strong start to the season with a quarterfinal at the Australian Open and a title in Rotterdam.
Since the start of 2025, De Minaur has played 14 tour-level quarterfinals and lost eight of them. His record at this stage in Masters events stands at 2-6.
