Hamzah Sheeraz enters the fight with an unbeaten professional record, having gone 22-0 (18 KOs) with 1 draw.
Sheeraz debuted in the pro ranks back in September 2017 and quickly climbed the ladder in the light-middleweight division, claiming the European title in November 2019 with a sixth-round knockout of Ryan Kelly.
He went on to retain the title four times before making the ump up to middleweight in early 2022.
The 26-year-old Englishman claimed the Commonwealth crown later that year, knocking out River Wilson-Bent in the second round, but did not defend it until February 2024 when he stopped Liam Williams in less than three minutes.
Sheeraz followed that up with an 11th round stoppage of American Austin Williams in June of that year, and he closed out a successful 2024 with a second-round demolition of Tyler Denny that brought the European title.
That secured him a shot at a world title in early 2025, but the English fighter came up short as he went to a split decision draw with WBC title-holder Carlos Adames.
He rebounded from that disappointment in July though, as he took out Edgar Berlanga in the fifth round in his most recent outing.
Alem Begic Form
Alem Begic is a veteran German fighter with a professional record of 29-0 (23 KOs) and 1 draw.
Begic has spent the entirety of his career fighting on the European scene, and boasts no notable wins on his record.
He has held several minor titles, including the European super-middleweight and light-heavyweight, with his most recent outing being a successful defence of the super-middleweight belt in April of this year.
The 39-year-old German knocked out Mahdi Safdari in the second round just last month, earning himself this shot at a world title.

Alem Begic is unbeaten, but the reality is that he is most likely a hand-picked opponent chosen to help get a world title around Hamzah Sheeraz’s waist.
