They bounced back to close out that part of the campaign with a couple of road wins, beating Santa Clara 85-76 and San Francisco 95-75.
Gonzaga then repeated that victory over San Francisco when they met in the semi-final of the conference tournament, winning 85-76.
The Bulldogs backed that up, and made it four wins in a row, with a 58-51 success against Saint Mary’s CA in the final.

Georgia enter March Madness looking to rebound from their lightning quick exit from the SEC tournament.
The Bulldogs went cold in early February as they lost four straight games, but they rallied to close out the regular season with four consecutive wins.
They beat Florida 88-83 at home, before heading out on the road to down Texas 83-67 and South Carolina 73-64.
Georgia’s run then reached four games with a 79-68 victory over Vanderbilt that sent them into the conference tournament on a high.
However, the Bulldogs were ‘one and done’ in that tournament, as they were dumped out by an 81-75 defeat to Oklahoma.
Verdict
This young Georgia team has enjoyed some impressive wins this season, but their SEC tournament exit is a big red flag for this game.
