Penn State are tipped to win the National Championship next January.
The Nittany Lions return with a dominant running back room and plenty of talent at receiver, which will help experienced quarterback Drew Allar.
The defense lost Abdul Carter, but this is still a strong group and they will be led by defensive co-ordinator Jim Knowles, who was lured away from champions Ohio State.
So when you combine talent with good coaching and consistency, you have a serious contender, especially when their rivals are all breaking in new quarterbacks.

Georgia are tipped to retain the SEC Conference crown.
The Bulldogs’ 2024 season ended in disappointment, but they did once again claim the bragging rights in the SEC.
Gunnar Stockton gained valuable experience last year, and their scheduled is lighter in 2025 with the likes of Texas, Alabama and Ole Miss heading to them this time around.
Their out-of-conference schedule is not as tough neither, so the Bulldogs are primed to make another run at the SEC crown.

Clemson are rightly the favourites to claim the ACC Conference crown once again.
The Tigers bring back starting quarterback Cade Klubnik and his entire offensive line from a year ago.
The defense has lost some talent, but this is still a front four that can get after opposition quarterbacks and cause them major headaches.
They have also dominated this conference for the past decade, so they have to be the team to back.

Cade Klubnik returns for Clemson and once again he will be protected by an outstanding offensive line.
He has a strong supporting cast when it comes to weapons too, so everything is there for Klubnik to enjoy an even better season than his career-best 2024 campaign.
The Tigers quarterback will have plenty of opportunities to put up big numbers in the ACC, and he can lay down an early marker by out-duelling LSU rival Garrett Nussmeier in Week 1.
So if Clemson build momentum early and make the playoffs, personal accolades could come the way of their starting QB.
