Jacksonville entered the 2024 campaign with their sights set on a trip to the playoffs after a disappointing end to last season.
The Jaguars dropped a couple of games early on, but hit a hot streak between early October and late November as they won seven times in an eight-game spell.
Their form nose-dived after that however, as they lost five of their remaining games to miss out on the postseason.
Jacksonville's losing run has now reached seven consecutive games through the first two weeks of the 2024 season.
The Jaguars dropped a heart-breaker on opening day, losing 20-17 in Miami, before losing 18-13 in the home opener against Cleveland.
Buffalo Bills Form
Buffalo came into the 2024 NFL season looking to bounce back from another disappointing trip to the postseason.
The Bills once again made that playoffs in 2023, going 11-6 to win the AFC East, and they cruised through Wildcard round thanks to a 31-17 win over Pittsburgh.
They failed to back that up in the Divisional round though, as they once again lost to Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in the postseason, this time losing 27-24.
Buffalo made a bunch of changes to the roster in the preseason, leading to concerns about the offense, but they have got off to a solid start.
The Bills opened up with a 34-28 victory over Arizona, and then backed that up with a dominant 31-10 victory over division rivals Miami on the road.
Verdict
Buffalo's offense is putting up plenty of points and an opportunistic defense is taking the ball away.
That makes them an appealing bet against a Jags team that has struggled offensively through two games.
