The Chiefs opened up at home for the second year running, and unlike 2023 they got the job done on opening night.
They held off Baltimore for a 27-20 victory, and then backed that up last weekend with a dramatic 26-25 success against Cincinnati.
Kansas City strong start's is a far cry from 12 months ago when they were beaten by Detroit at home, but they responded by going all the way and winning the Super Bowl for the second season running.
The Chiefs’ victory in Las Vegas means they now have the opportunity to become the first team in the Super Bowl era to win three consecutive NFL titles.
Atlanta Falcons Form
Atlanta came into the 2024 season looking to improve on their 7-10 record last time around, and the bookmakers like their chances.
The Falcons kicked off the 2023 campaign with back-to-back home wins, but their form quickly cooled off as they missed out on the playoffs once again.
In response to another losing season, they went out and signed free agent quarterback Kirk Cousins to a big-money deal, while also seemingly drafting his successor in Michael Penix Jr.

The new-look Falcons went 0-3 in the preseason and then lost the season-opener to Pittsburgh 18-10, but they did bounce back last week with a shock 22-21 victory in Philadelphia.
