Los Angeles will look to end this road trip on a positive note and improve their record to 2-2.

The Kings have been fixtures of the postseason over the past four years, but they have failed to make it past the first round on each occasion.

They entered this season with the aim of finally breaking their duck this time around, but they got off to a rough start as they were beaten 4-1 at home by Colorado.

Los Angeles went out on the road after that, and they found their offense in Vegas as they took down the Golden Knights via a shootout, 6-5.

The Kings were unable to follow up that victory in Winnipeg however, as they were beaten 3-2 by the Jets on Saturday.

Minnesota enter this matchup looking to rebound from a first defeat of the season that dropped them to 1-1.

The Wild returned to the playoffs last season, after a one-year absence, but just like the Kings they were eliminated in the first round.

They are looking to better that this time around, and they have made a mixed start to the new campaign.

Minnesota were handed a trip to St Louis for their season-opener, but it proved to be a successful trip as they shut out the Blues in a 5-0 victory.

The Wild failed to back that up however, as they dropped their home opener against Columbus on Saturday, 7-4.

Los Angeles have had defensive issues early and that has resulted in a couple of defeats.

Minnesota, on the other hand, are off to a strong start offensively, so we expect the Wild to take this on the home ice.
