The Canucks entered the playoffs having put together a 50-23-9 record in the regular season to win the Pacific Division.
They went 5-4 in their last nine games of the regular season though, and they were only able to split the first two games of this series despite having home advantage.
Vancouver scored three unanswered goals in the final period of Game 1 to snatch a 4-2 victory over Nashville.
There would be no such heroics in the second game, as the Canucks fell behind early and never recovered in a 4-1 defeat, but they hit back on Friday with a 2-1 win in 'Music City'.
Nashville Predators Form
Nashville enter their second home game of the series looking to knot things up at 2-2 before heading back to Vancouver.
The Predators booked their place in the playoffs by finishing fourth in the Central Division with a regular season record of 47-30-5.
They closed out the regular season with a defeat, and then fell behind early in this postseason series with Vancouver.
Nashville led after the first two periods in Game 1, but gave up three goals in the final stanza to lose 4-2 to the Canucks.
The Predators made no such mistakes in the second meeting as they won 4-1, but they failed to build on that in their home postseason opener, losing 2-1.
Verdict
Vancouver are on top in the series after a big road win, and they continue to get the better of Nashville.
Right now that Game 2 loss looks like nothing more than a hiccup, so we are backing the Canucks to head home with a 3-1 series lead.
