Vegas come into this game looking to follow up a big road win in the opening game of this playoff series.
The Golden Knights compiled a 45-29-8 record in the regular season to finish fourth in the Pacific Division and earn a playoff place.
They blew hot and cold over the final few weeks of the season though, losing four of their final seven games in the regular season.
Vegas lost three straight on the road, and then responded with a run of three consecutive victories before closing out that part of the season with a 4-1 defeat to Anaheim.
The Golden Knights issued an immediate response to that loss however, as they registered a 4-3 road win in the opening game of this playoff series with Dallas.

Dallas enter this matchup in desperate need of a win after losing their opening game of the series at home.
The Stars marched into the playoffs thanks to a 52-21-9 regular-season record that earned them top spot in the Central Division.
They won 12 of their final 14 games to fend off Winnipeg in the race for the crown, with that sequence featuring an eight-game win streak.
Dallas wrapped up the regular season with back-to-back wins, responding to a 3-0 loss to Winnipeg with a 3-1 victory over Seattle and a shootout victory against St Louis.
However, the Stars failed to make it three wins in a row in their playoff opener, losing 4-3 at home to Vegas on Monday night.
Verdict
Vegas delivered as an underdog for us in Game 1, and we fancy their chances of a repeat.
The Golden Knights have had the Stars' number in recent seasons and have recorded a bunch of wins in Dallas.
