The Capitals were unable to keep that winning run going in their playoff opener though, as they were beaten 4-1 in New York on Sunday.

New York go into the second game of the series looking to improve to 2-0 before they head out on the road.
The Rangers claimed the Metropolitan Division crown this season by compiling a 55-23-4 regular-season record.
They dropped a few games late on, but they did wrap up the regular season with a couple of wins to come into the postseason with some momentum.
Both wins came at home too, as New York followed up a shootout victory over the New York Islanders with a 4-0 shutout win over Ottawa 4-0.
The Rangers then made it three wins in a row in their playoff opener, easing to a 4-1 victory over Washington.

New York are in good form and have been stacking up wins at home over the past several weeks.
