De Minaur Arrives After Strong Week in Hertogenbosch
Alex de Minaur began the grass-court season with a runner-up finish in 's-Hertogenbosch last week. He defeated Benjamin Bonzi and Adrian Mannarino on his way to the final but was unable to stop first-time finalist Kamil Majchrzak in the championship match.
After a strong start to the season, the Australian struggled for results between Acapulco and Rome. During that stretch, he won only four matches across eight tournaments and suffered four opening-round exits.
His recent results have been more encouraging, however. He reached the semifinals in Hamburg, the third round at Roland Garros and followed it up with another final appearance in 's-Hertogenbosch, showing signs of returning to his best level.
This will be De Minaur's seventh appearance at Queen's Club. His best results came with a semifinal run in 2021 and a runner-up finish in 2023, although both of his most recent visits ended in the opening round.
