Daniil Medvedev has been virtually untouchable in Dubai this week, winning all four of his matches in straight sets and never conceding more than four games in a set. That run included a dominant semifinal victory over last year’s runner-up Felix Auger-Aliassime.

Resilient Griekspoor Powers Into Dubai Final
Tallon Griekspoor had to battle through physical discomfort in the semifinals, struggling to move freely at times, yet Alexander Bublik was unable to capitalize. The Dutchman showed resilience, saving a couple of set points in the second set before sealing the win in straight sets.
This has been his best week in quite some time, highlighted by three consecutive top-20 victories over Alexander Bublik, Jakub Mensik, and Andrey Rublev to reach his first final since Mallorca last June, where he defeated Corentin Moutet for the title.
Griekspoor has now featured in five tour-level finals in his career, but none have come against a top-20 opponent. With fitness concerns lingering and the level of opposition rising, he faces his toughest title match yet.
