Miomir Kecmanovic opened his grass-court season in Halle last week but suffered a three-set defeat to Fabian Marozsan in the first round. It marked his sixth consecutive opening-round exit at the tournament.
The Serbian has not produced many standout results on the ATP Tour this season. His best performances came with a quarterfinal run in Dallas and a semifinal appearance in Acapulco. He also collected a Challenger title in Valencia last month.
While consistency has been an issue, those results have helped Kecmanovic move closer to a return to the top 50 rankings. He will be looking to build on that position during the grass-court swing.
This will be Kecmanovic's third appearance in Mallorca. His previous two visits both ended in first-round defeats, leaving him still in search of his first main-draw win at the event.

Medjedovic Carries Confidence Into Mallorca
Hamad Medjedovic began his grass-court season at Queen's Club last week with a first-round victory over Arthur Rinderknech. His run ended in the second round against Ugo Humbert despite taking the opening set.
The Serbian enjoyed a productive clay-court campaign earlier this year. He reached the fourth round in Rome, made the semifinals in Barcelona, and captured the Naples Challenger title. Those results helped him climb to a career-high ranking of No. 56 last month.
This will be Medjedovic's second appearance in Mallorca. On his tournament debut in 2023, he put together an impressive run to the quarterfinals. He returns this week with points to defend and another opportunity to produce a strong result on grass.
